Mám zde několik fotek z jedné rozestavěné stavby, kterou teď kontrolujeme a zjišťujeme, kolik bude stát její dostavba. Chybělo málo a před cca dvěma roky se zde mohlo začít vyrábět, ale došly peníze, a tak se stavba zastavila.

The above mentioned article from Czech TV got my attention today. The results in the discussion on Facebook are clear – you should definetely feed the hungry. I totally agree with that but o the other hand I have to say that we have to teach the hungry ones how to take care for themselves. The rich countries should not shut up the hungry people by putting the food into their mouths – it happens and it doesn’t help.

Tento článek mě dnes zaujal. V diskusi k němu na Facebooku je jednoznačný názor na to, aby se jednoznačně krmili hladoví. S tím naprosto souhlasím, ale také dodávám jedním dechem to, že ty hladové je třeba naučit jak se o sebe postarat. Vyspělé země by neměly zavřít ústa hladových tím, že jim do nich strčí jídlo – to se děje a to nepomáhá.

Interesting idea – nowadays things are mostly upgraded instead of replaced.

What I mean by that?

Things that we have we replace (upgrade with) most of the time by new ones sooner that the lifetime of the ones we already have expires. There is always a new and better product on the market and we just want it. It applies with cell phones, computers, cars, cloths… and we could continue on and on.
