I guess that having a dog is kind of God’s plan for me :-) It seams that he wants to give me some time to think and pray. I cannot see another reason.
Today’s evening walk made it’s point :-) I remembered the verse from Bible from book Hebrews 13:8 and I have to admit that this memory was really nourishing and resurgent.
I reminisce sometimes the stuff i gone through with God in my past with some kind of nostalgia. The stuff which happen when I was 18 to 20 years old. How we went through some small revival with some friends in Hodslavice, how we were radical about sharing the gospel at English Camps when we started Ratolest…
There are lots of memories but that verse reminded me that I don’t have to just remember, I don’t have to just look sadly to the past and be worried about the thing that these days it doesn’t work and that in those days it was so easy.
Jesus Christ is the same and it means that the stuff we experienced in the past could happen again. We can see the revival again, we can see people turning to Christ again.
I was really encouraged and I have realized that I don’t want “just” the same stuff, but I long for some other stuff and they are yet surely coming. Bible promises so. There are things we can look forward to – and that’s what I’ve realized tonight…
